GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Just as the sun began to rise on another sweltering mid-August day, Breanna Scholten’s attention was drawn to the sidewalk outside her apartment along Lincoln Avenue on Grand Rapids’ West Side.
Scholten told News 8 that she had walked outside to take her wife to work on the morning of Aug. 16 when she saw a man lying in a pool of blood.
