Nashville, TN — The Nashville Fisk University Alumni Association (NFUAA) and the Fisk Jubilee Singers Alumni (FJSA) proudly announce the 2025 Gold & Blue Jubilee Bash Heritage Awards, a signature cultural and philanthropic event honoring legendary producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. The gala will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) in downtown Nashville.
The Gold & Blue Jubilee Bash celebrates the enduring legacy of Fisk University, home to the world-renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers, while raising essential funds for student scholarships. Each year, the event brings together alumni, community leaders, and supporters for an evening of artistry, impact, and purpose.
This announcement comes on the heels of the 2025 Jubilee Day festivities. “The story of the Fisk Jubilee Singers is one of endurance and artistic brilliance,” said Geo Cooper, President of the Fisk Jubilee Singers Alumni Association. “They carried our songs into the world and, in doing so, cemented our contributions in history. The Gold & Blue Jubilee Bash honors that legacy by reminding us that music has always been both our testimony and our bridge to the future.”…
