Three arrested after traffic stop leads to discovery of narcotics, firearm

REDDING, Calif. — Police arrested three individuals early Tuesday, following a traffic stop near South Bonnyview Road and Interstate 5. Officers discovered illegal firearms and narcotics in the vehicle.

RPD officials stated that Denyse Whitehouse, 47, of Anderson, was driving the white Buick SUV. The passengers were identified as Daniel Uribe, 33, and Andrew Duenas, 33, both from Sacramento.

According to a statement by RPD, officers noticed an open container of alcohol inside the vehicle. A search revealed an unregistered loaded Glock 17 handgun, a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine, and several prescription pill bottles containing various controlled substances…
