The City of Santa Rosa has signed a lease with the Sonoma County Historical Society (SCHS) for the Caretaker House in Howarth Park. The agreement was finalized on October 22, 2025. SCHS will restore and use the building for community events, meetings, and historical research between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
SCHS is responsible for restoration, accessibility, and operational improvements. After renovations, the Caretaker House may also be available to nonprofit and community groups. Additional information is available at SonomaCountyHistory.org…
