– Construction crews were busy this past week doing work alongside La. 347 near Parks as part of state roadwork projects in St. Martin Parish.
Alternating traffic lanes were enforced as the crew worked on drainage and road widening projects on La. 347, just past the Parks Bridge on the east side of Bayou Teche where Resweber Highway makes the curve to become Bridge Street Highway.
The state Department of Transportation and Development began an $11.96 million project along La. 347 from La. 350 (Bridge Street in Parks) to La. 351 (Ruth Bridge Highway in Breaux Bridge) in 2023, completing the bulk of the work earlier this year…
