Beloved Cleveland restaurant owner receives cutting edge treatment after stroke

CLEVELAND — If you’ve ever dined at Tommy’s in Cleveland Heights, there’s a good chance you’ve seen the restaurant’s namesake working in the back. Amiable and dedicated, restaurant owner Tommy Fello is a fixture in the Cleveland community.

Fello said he’s worked 60 to 80 hours a week at the restaurant since he was 18 years old. However, it was on Christmas day in 2023 when he was forced to take a break.

“Every Christmas morning I come to the restaurant, even though we’re not open, and I make a gigantic buffet for my grandkids and everybody,” Fello said…
