(WJET/WFXP)– The Erie man convicted of killing Jaquan Burrows in July 2023 and leaving his body to be found more than a week later will spend at least the next two decades in prison.
According to Assistant District Attorney Hillary Hoffman, 22-year-old Tyjahmon Crosby was sentenced to 20-40 years in prison on Wednesday by Judge John Mead for Burrows’ murder, whose body was found behind an abandoned home in the 900 block of Ash Street.
Crosby was convicted of felony third-degree murder, aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, receiving stolen property and firearms not to be carried, along with misdemeanor possession of instruments of a crime and reckless endangerment in September…
