Mobile’s MLK Jr. Ave. renovation to revitalize community with $11M project

MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — The rebuilding of a 1.3-mile stretch of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue is set to begin early next year, marking a significant transformation for the area.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held this morning for the project, which will overhaul the section between Butchers Lane and Broad Street.
