Alabama Man Arrested for Swatting Calls to LPSO

An Alabama man who made multiple “swatting” calls to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office in August was arrested. Korey Flood Sr., 25, of Mobile was arrested and transported to Lafourche Parish last week.

In August 2025, the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office received several unusual calls for service, directing deputies to a residence in the 200 block of Plymouth Street in Thibodaux. These calls involved shooting victims, drug activity, and an armed kidnapping. Deputies responded to each of these calls, determining each to be untrue.

Through an extensive investigation, detectives determined that each of the calls for service originated from an Alabama resident, identified as Flood, who was using apps and prepaid phones in some cases.
