Teen charged in Ocala bonfire shooting during high school homecoming party

OCALA, Fla. – A 17-year-old was arrested and accused of pulling the trigger after an altercation at a bonfire party for a high school homecoming.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened a little over a month ago on Sept. 28. Hundreds of people were celebrating Forest High School’s homecoming at the bonfire party on SE 52nd Court in Ocala.
