The Superior Court of California, County of Santa Barbara, will reduce Clerk’s Office hours from December 22, 2025, to January 2, 2026. During this time, public access will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Phone service will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The change affects the Santa Maria Court Campus, Anacapa Division, Figueroa Division, Juvenile Court, and Lompoc Division.
The court cites funding reductions and financial challenges as the reason for the change. Some funding was restored for the 2024/2025 fiscal year, but constraints remain.
