Delaware State Police arrested Wah’kee Tabron, 21, of Newark, and a 16-year-old male from Wilmington after an armed robbery at Motel 6 in Newark on October 15, 2025. Police say the incident happened at about 11:15 p.m. A woman who had arranged to meet a man online was approached by two suspects. One suspect had a handgun. The suspects demanded her money and property, then left the scene. No injuries were reported.
Detectives identified Tabron and the juvenile as suspects and obtained arrest warrants. Both were already in custody on unrelated charges when they were charged on October 24, 2025.
