Back in June 2022, we reported on the construction of a new Golden Chick on North Beltline Road in Grand Prairie. At the time, the project was still framed as “coming soon,” leaving the question of how it would perform once it opened. Today, with the doors open and hundreds of reviews available, we can finally see how this restaurant is being received by the community.
Construction and Opening
The Grand Prairie Golden Chick filled in a retail pad site that had been underutilized for years, adding another fried chicken option to an already competitive corridor. The project represented the brand’s steady expansion across North Texas, bringing its mix of fried chicken, tenders, and sides closer to a growing stretch of Beltline Road.
