Driver in crash that killed Kansas deputy will learn his fate

SEDGWICK COUNTY —A driver involved in a fatal crash that killed a Kansas Sheriff’s Deputy expected to learn his fate Thursday.

Kelvin Burgett, 28, Prescott Valley, Arizona is scheduled for a sentencing hearing in Judge William Wooley’s courtroom, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office.
