LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Friends and family came together on Tuesday to say their final goodbyes to Jovonn “Jo Jo” Tyree Magee Thomas.
Thomas was 12 years old when he was killed last month after a van struck him while riding his e-scooter near Tully Avenue and Hidden Desert Way in east Las Vegas.
During the Las Vegas Metro police investigation, evidence at the scene and dashcam footage showed that a van was driving westbound on Tully Avenue, approaching the intersection, when a 12-year-old boy riding an electric scooter entered the intersection and crossed the van’s path, resulting in a collision…
