Owners of the new shopping area are not done with building up Salem’s downtown.
A new concept called Cellar 54 was recently added to the list of businesses coming to The Forge at 285 Liberty Street NE. This will be an event venue with a stage, an inside bar and a speakeasy. According to staff of Cellar 54, the new spot is set to open in January.
Owner Nat Borchers is in charge of bringing the new venue to Salem. He has also helped open Clink, a French and American restaurant and Dreamies Creamery, both inside The Forge. A project called Aloe Restorative Lounge is also planned for the multi-level space…
