Schenectady man gets 4 years in prison on gun charge

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) – A Schenectady man was sentenced to 4 years in prison for having an illegal gun.

Trejon Faircloth, 22, was stopped in a vehicle on May 10 around 11:45 p.m. on I-90 in Guilderland. Faircloth was on probation at the time. He was acting suspiciously, police said. His driver’s license was suspended, and he had an expired registration sticker.

Police said a search of the vehicle found a Glock .40-caliber handgun under his driver’s seat. Officers also found a backpack full of narcotics including 149 grams of oxycodone pills, 84 grams of heroin, 41.5 grams of cocaine, and three ounces of cannabis…
