Multiple trunk-or-treat events underway across area communities

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Multiple trunk-or-treat events were underway across area communities Thursday evening, providing safe alternatives for children to trick-or-treat while staying out of colder weather.

The Warren Road Community Center held its Halloween event for the community. Representatives from the East Central Health Department attended the event, unveiling the new mobile medical clinic.

Local artist Baruti Tucker and Augusta leaders cut the ribbon on the new piece.

“It took us this long to get it wrapped and ready to go, and we decided this is public health,” said Lee Donohue, the East Central Public Health District Director. “We take care of kids and adults of all ages and stages of life, and wanted to bring it out to such a great event here at Warren Community Center.”…
