GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Guilford County is boasting economic growth, population growth and service growth in the State of the County yearly report.
Chairman Skip Alston addressed the county, sharing strides in workforce, family services and education milestones and celebrating many successes in bringing good advancement to the area. Guilford County is the state’s third-largest county by population with 556,000 residents.
In 2025, the county celebrated a major business announcement with JetZero’s incoming multi-billion-dollar investment, bringing more than 14,000 jobs, and recently, Food Lion’s distribution company invested millions to eventually bring 500 more jobs…
