HAZEL GREEN, Ala. (WHNT) — The Hazel Green Volunteer Fire Department said a house is a total loss after a fire on Thursday afternoon.
HGVFD Chief Steve Watson said the fire department responded to a house fire on Charity Lane around 1:28 p.m. Thursday. He said crews arrived to find heavy fire showing through the roof of the home.

Watson said no one was injured in the fire, and the homeowners were not at home at the time the fire started.
