KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A travel consultant from West Michigan remains stranded in Jamaica as of Wednesday morning amid widespread damage from Hurricane Melissa.
Barb Culberson, owner of B&D Travel Consultants LLC in Sturgis, said she has been vacationing at Sandals Negril since last week. Her Sunday flight to return home to Michigan was canceled because of the storm, she said.
