Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Seeks Information on Duo Suspected of Northside Shoe Store Heist

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for two individuals involved in a notable heist from a Northside shoe store. According to the JSO’s social media post, the duo made off with a dozen pairs of shoes on October 8. The post recounts, “We spotted you two creeping through a Northside shoe store near City Station Drive on October 8, and your shopping trip was truly un-boo-lievable.”

The perpetrators, one sporting sunglasses and the other a black cap, were caught on camera browsing and stacking shoe boxes. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office humorously noted the quantity of shoes taken, acknowledging the pair’s two feet each and the mystery surrounding their need to casually take away such a volume of footwear. Interested parties with any information on the “sole-mates” may be looking to possibly receive a financial reward if their tip leads to an arrest.
