A homeless encampment along the 110 Freeway in Lincoln Heights has been cleared, and 27 people have been moved into temporary housing.

Los Angeles Councilwoman Eunisses Hernandez, who represents District 1, held a press conference Thursday at Lacy Street Neighborhood Park.

She said the move is a part of a $6.3 million initiative aimed at moving individuals experiencing homelessness along a four-mile stretch of the 110 Freeway indoors…
