MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – An effort to restore what as once a beloved community center is planned this weekend at the old Bellingrath Community Center.
For years, the Bellingrath Community Center was a safe haven, a place where families found support, and children made memories of playing ball, learning new skills, or simply being together.
Today, it needs major repairs to continue serving families in the area. Saturday, a group of people who love this place are calling for painters, roofers, landscapers, carpenters and anyone with a heart of service to help restore the building…
