SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Interim Surfside Beach Police Chief Bill Mickle had his interim tag removed Thursday and was officially named chief, he told News13.
Mickle was named interim chief in July following Kenneth Davis’ resignation. Mickle served as a police captain with Surfside Beach prior to Davis’ departure, but he started out as a sergeant.
