BEDFORD, Va. (WSET) — ABC13 is learning new details regarding a man who recently escaped federal custody.
On Monday, 22-year-old Kelvin Josue Reyes Bonilla escaped ICE custody during transportation. The group reportedly made a stop at an Arby’s in Bedford for Reyes-Bonilla to use the restroom, and he took off, still in full restraints.
According to an ICE spokesperson, Reyes-Bonilla was en route to the ICE Roanoke sub-office for processing before escaping. Officials say they are still searching the surrounding area for him…
