On October 29, 2025, New Castle County Division of Police officers responded to a burglary in the Sparrow Run community in Newark, Delaware. The suspect, 33-year-old Dakeir Hall of Wilmington, forced entry into a home on Egret Court.
Officers, with the assistance of K9 Indy and her handler, established a perimeter and gave commands. K9 Indy’s barking led Hall to surrender without incident.
