Shreveport, LA – Residents across portions of Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma may wake up to frosty conditions Friday morning as temperatures dip sharply overnight under clear skies.

According to the US National Weather Service Shreveport, calm winds and dry air will allow temperatures to fall into the low to mid-30s, creating ideal conditions for patchy frost. The highest frost probabilities—ranging from 40–60%—extend across southeast Oklahoma and southwest Arkansas, though northern Louisiana and northeast Texas could also see frost in more rural, low-lying areas
