Boulder County Shares Resources for Residents Affected by Federal Service Changes

Boulder County has published a list of resources for residents affected by the ongoing federal government shutdown. Residents can visit the Boulder County Federal Impacts to Services page or sign up for Human Services News alerts for updates. SNAP (food assistance) benefits are paused for November 2025. All SNAP households are affected. Existing EBT balances can still be used at approved stores.

Boulder County is still processing new SNAP applications and renewals. Eligible residents will receive benefits when funding resumes. New SNAP work requirements will start on November 1, 2025.
