Murray auto shop steps up to help feed people during SNAP uncertainty

MURRAY, Utah (KUTV) — Many are wondering how they’ll feed their families as funding for SNAP is about to run out.

The federal program that provides food assistance to tens of thousands of Utahns will run out at midnight on Saturday. As food pantries prepare to help, other businesses are stepping up to do the same, like Gills Point S Tire and Auto in Murray.

They will begin taking donations on Friday. And then on Wednesday, they’ll deliver it to those who need it…
