ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Shiloh Baptist Missionary Church is preparing to distribute 30 pallets of supplies on Friday to people impacted by the floods in Western Alaska. The items include electric blankets, air mattresses, clothing, diapers and food. It’s all being housed at Shiloh’s Community Resource, a warehouse in Mountain View where the event will take place.
Shiloh Community Housing President, Shenee Williams, said everything is new and all of it is free for evacuees in Anchorage who were impacted by the storm.
”We aren’t going to ask you a bunch of questions to see where you came from, how did that need exist. If you have a need, it’s available to you,” she said, adding that people who are housing other family members are welcome to supplies as well…
