Troopers responded to a Schaghticoke home on Melrose Valley Falls Road on Tuesday for reports of a fire. Fire investigators found Davidson allegedly started the fire on purpose because he had an ongoing conflict with the homeowner at the time of the incident.

The home was empty at the time of the fire. Davidson was arrested in Saratoga Springs, arraigned in Schaghticoke Town Court, and placed in the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
