Crash on I-495 in Maryland leaves 1 dead, 3 seriously injured; Major traffic impacts

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — One person is dead, and three other people are in the hospital with serious injuries after a crash Friday morning on I-495 in Maryland.

First responders in Prince George’s County were called to the scene around 5:15 a.m. at the Outer Loop of 495 just before St. Barnabas Road. The crash involved one vehicle, the fire department said.

The person who died was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Though the other three people have serious injuries, they are not believed to be life-threatening. They are at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center…
