Teen arrested for threatening somebody at South Station with what seemed in the moment to be a real gun

Transit Police report arresting a 14-year-old on charges he threatened somebody with what appeared to be a working firearm – with an actual working laser sight in the commuter-rail side of South Station around 11:30 p.m. on Monday.

“He was engaged in a verbal dispute with an adult male and brandished the replica firearm and made a direct threat to the victim,” Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan said, adding “the victim, and those in close proximity, believed the firearm to be real.”…
