Impacts of Carbon Monoxide and ways to detect it

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – Carbon Monoxide is an odorless, colorless gas that can be deadly to humans.

Dr. Chris Holstege, Medical Director for UVA Health’s Blue Ridge Poison Center, said the gas is a byproduct of combustion and symptoms can vary based on the level of exposure.
