Montgomery County and Southwestern Kentucky officials have announced emergency resource fairs for Fort Campbell soldiers and federal employees.
As the government shutdown continues, government officials from Montgomery County and the Christian County Military Affairs Committee will host a four-day resource fair for those impacted.
According to the news release, more than 670,000 federal employees have been furloughed and 730,000 are working without pay across the country, including at Fort Campbell. As a result, many are struggling to meet their essential needs such as groceries, gas and childcare…
