Greensboro man contacts family in Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa

GEENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — After Jamaica suffered catastrophic damage from Hurricane Melissa, a Greensboro man said he’s having a hard time getting in contact with his family.

Throughout Wednesday, Cardo Grant, the membership director for the Jamaican Association of Greensboro, attempted to reach out to his loved ones in Jamaica.

“It was extremely stressful last night. But talking to my brother this morning and him and his wife and my nieces and nephew … They’re fine, but I’ve got a sister there and cousins and aunts that I’ve yet to make connection with,” Grant said…
