Murfreesboro, TN – An early this morning multi-vehicle crash near the 57 mile marker on Interstate 840 westbound (traveling toward Franklin). It was near Murfreesboro’s Sulphur Springs Rd. exit near the Shacklett Rd. 56.6 mile marker. The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office quickly arrived on scene to manage the situation and assist those involved.
The crash has blocked all westbound lanes. According to initial reports, the left shoulder is also blocked, leaving only the right shoulder open for emergency access. Drivers heading west on I-840 should expect significant delays and are urged to seek alternate routes.
