With SNAP benefits scheduled to end on November 1, 2025, almost two million Pennsylvanians may lose access to food assistance. In response, Mt. Lebanon has opened a free pantry in the municipal building lobby at 710 Washington Road.
The pantry is open on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. It accepts donations of non-perishable food and toiletries. Community members can take items as needed and are encouraged to donate if able. Visitors should bring their own bags. The program is intended to help local residents…
