Lincoln woman found with stolen handgun, meth, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln woman was arrested Wednesday after police say they found meth and a stolen handgun in her car.

During an ongoing narcotics investigation, investigators were conducting surveillance around 1 p.m. on 36-year-old Maria Salazar’s vehicle and home, located near 16th and F streets.

Investigators began to follow Salazar after she left her home and got in her car. According to the arrest affidavit, Salazar traveled to the Laundry Land located near 21st and J streets, parked briefly then left.

Salazar then returned to her home where she met with a man briefly, her roommate, then returned to the Laundry Land and entered the business, court documents show…
