On October 23, 2025, the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas) and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new UT Dallas Station on the DART Silver Line. The Silver Line began service on October 25. Free rides are available through November 8.
The new station is located north of the UT Dallas campus near the Northside development. It is the fourth westbound stop on the 26-mile, 10-station rail line. The Silver Line connects seven cities: Plano, Richardson, Dallas, Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, and Grapevine. It also links to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
