SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Check the medicine cabinet for recalled cholesterol medicine.
The New Jersey-based Ascend Laboratories recalled 140,000 tablets of Atorvastatin Calcium. Pharmacies sold the statin drug as a generic form of Lipitor. The company recalled the drug because it did not dissolve properly.
