North Charleston police arrest suspect in September shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – North Charleston detectives arrested a man in connection with a September 20 attempted murder investigation.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to the Charleston Heights Motel around 10 p.m. after getting reports that the suspect pushed open a plexiglass window, aimed, and fired a shot.

Police officials said the bullet missed the intended victim; however, it went through a wall and damaged three motel rooms…
