Wanted man allegedly chokes mother of his children in Lady Lake

A Lady Lake man was arrested on a warrant Wednesday after battering the mother of his children when she asked him to leave their home.

On Oct. 23, an officer with the Lady Lake Police Department responded to a battery involving 29-year-old Neven Lynn McDonald at an undisclosed residence, according to an affidavit of probable cause out of Lake County.

Upon arrival, the officer met with the female victim who was distraught and loading her children into a vehicle. She advised that McDonald had come to her residence after being gone for about a week. Law enforcement had also been there within that week due to him having a warrant for battery, the affidavit said.

The victim told McDonald that he did not need to be at the residence because he was in trouble with the police. She asked him to leave and stated she would notify law enforcement if he did not, the report said…
