Two killed in Arkansas State Police chase in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Two people were killed in an Arkansas State Police chase in Little Rock Wednesday night.

According to ASP officials, a state trooper attempted to stop a driver speeding on Interstate 30. Special agents said the driver exited at the Geyer Springs Road and continued at more than 100 mph.

During the chase, state troopers said the driver reached speeds over 130 mph before taking the McDaniel Drive exit. The driver struck another vehicle while on a service road and crashed at a local business, causing a fire.

The suspect, a 20-year-old Little Rock man, was ejected from the vehicle and taken to a hospital for treatment…
