EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene Police Department (EPD) is urging motorists to steer clear of River Road and Maxwell Road as authorities respond to a traffic incident involving two vehicles, one of them being a Lane County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) deputy in a patrol car.
Both the deputy and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to a local hospital.
