BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The annual HIRE celebration luncheon was held Thursday which is aimed at celebrating workers with disabilities as well as their employers.
The HIRE committee was founded by late Bakersfield Mayor Harvey Hall in 2005 and is made up by organizations like the Kern County Department of Human Services, Kern High School District and Kern County Libraries.
