Cleveland police located possible abduction victim

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Cleveland police asked for the public’s help on Friday in locating a possible abduction victim. That person has since been found, police told FOX 8 News Friday at 9:30 p.m.

According to a press release from the Cleveland Division of Police, officers responded to a report of a female being forced into a vehicle in the area of West 9th Street and St. Clair Avenue around 2:20 p.m. on Friday.

According to police, preliminary information found that an “ unknown female was reportedly forced into a vehicle by an unknown male before the vehicle fled the area.”

Footage gathered by police shows a male and a female in an altercation. The female is then seen attempting to walk away before being escorted and pushed into a vehicle by the male, the release said.

On Friday night, police said the person “has been located and is safe. Officers confirmed there was no cause for the abduction.”…
