A Ripley man faces a number of charges after an investigation into a report of a vehicle in a ditch in the Town of Ripley on Friday. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputes were called to the intersection of North East-Sherman Road and South Ripley Road at about 7:45 AM and identified the driver as 58-year-old George Stoddard. Deputies found that Stoddard was allegedly driving the vehicle with a BAC of .27%, more than three times the legal limit.
