The Town has announced road closures and detours, the reopening of a racquet center, changes to the yard trash schedule, and safety reminders from Fire-Rescue as Daylight Saving Time ends.

A major traffic change will start on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 5:00 a.m. South Ocean Boulevard (SR A1A) will be closed between South County Road and Southern Boulevard until further notice. Information about checkpoints, bridge schedules, and marine security zones is available on the Town’s Planned Traffic Impacts webpage. Other road closures include Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach on Thursday, October 30, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Seaview Avenue on October 31 and November 1. These closures will affect both local and through traffic.

The Town’s seasonal yard trash collection schedule will run from November 1, 2025, through April 30, 2026. Residents may place yard waste out one day before collection.
